Description
Supplemental high-intensity lighting during young plant production can accelerate rooting and decrease time to produce liners and plugs. However, some crops propagated under light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can develop an undesirable purple pigmentation. In this session, Erik and Roberto will discuss guidelines for environmental management during propagation and share preliminary research findings about understanding and overcoming the leaf purpling.
