Native plants are geographically distinct meaning a native plant in one region may not be native in another. Given that climate varies by region, different species may perform better than others and customers may have distinct preferences for natives or exotics depending upon their region of residence. In this talk, Alicia describes consumers’ perceptions of native plants and how those vary across the U.S. regions. Marketing strategies are discussed.
