Mr. Jim Jasinski began his career with OSU Extension in 1993 and has worked on vegetable IPM since 1999. Areas of his research and outreach program include mostly sweet corn and cucurbits, but also tomatoes and peppers. Jim is co-coordinator of the statewide insect monitoring network which looks for both traditional and invasive pests, such as spotted wing Drosophila and spotted lanternfly. Jim became the state IPM Program coordinator in 2013 which focuses on agronomic and specialty crop IPM, pollinator habitat and public health projects.
