Speaker Bio
Lee co-founded an ag consulting and research business in 1983 at the wet-behind-the-ears age of 23 and that same year hired her first employee. She is still involved in that operation over 40 years later, having put together many teams in the intervening years. She has run a small vegetable farm and roadside stand, as well as running research farms in Arizona, California, Colorado and Montana. A graduate of the Colorado Ag Leadership program in 1988, she started her professional network early, and along the way was humbled when she was elected as president of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants, a group she has been active in for 40 years now.

As an entrepreneur and small business owner with 4 decades of management and leadership experience, Lee brings a wealth of wisdom, compassion, and insight to what it takes to create, maintain and grow an ag business, and now turns her attention to share that knowledge with others. She believes that businesses and groups are quite simply people, and that while there may be systems and structures involved, it all boils down to relationships, trust, and a sense of a purpose that is greater than each of us individually.

Lee currently makes her home in Central Montana and enjoys her frequent drives to and from Arizona and seeing the diversity of ag along the way.
