Flexible Sensor Technology for Safe Robotic Harvesting

In this talk, Dr. Tan will present a soft sensor technology that provides contact pressure feedback. Dr. Tan and his team have demonstrated its integration with soft and traditional robotic grippers and its potential applications in measuring produce ripeness and ensuring safe handling in robotic harvesting and handling.

A Multi-arm Robotic System for Apple Harvesting

The apple industry is facing severe challenges due to the shortage and high cost of harvesting labors. In this presentation, Dr. Li will present the development of a new multi-arm robotic system for harvesting apples. Field evaluation in the 2023 season will be presented and future improvements will be discussed.
