Brian Frieden has worked for USDA for 40 years. He is the Director of the Risk Management Agency, (RMA) regional office located in Springfield, Illinois. The office supports the crop insurance programs in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. The regional office conducts program evaluations, underwriting reviews, outreach, and stakeholder engagement that insures the crop insurance program works at the local level. Prior to his time with RMA, he worked 18 years for the Farm Service Agency.
