My research and extension programs focus on water quality and management for container nursery and greenhouse production. We investigate methods to conserve water and remediate agrichemicals from irrigation runoff and recycled water. My program also investigates agrichemical transport in container production systems and methods to reduce movement. We are also investigating the use of RFID to facilitate precision agriculture practices for container production. I teach Landscape Plant Identification (HRT 211) and Nursery Management (HRT 310).
