*  Specialty Fruits and Nuts to Distinguish Your Farm
This panel features Ken Asmus of Oikos Tree Crops and Milan Anderson of Detroit Fruit and Nut LLC. Naim Edwards, who directs MSU's Urban Agriculture Center which has over 50 different perennial fruit crops will moderate. We will highlight a diversity of fruit crops that farmers can consider growing and potential markets and products that can be made with those crops. There is demand and opportunity for more pawpaw, persimmon, chestnut, and various other fruits that grow well in Michigan.
