The 28th annual Michigan Apple Cider Contest is an opportunity for commercial sweet (fresh non-alcoholic) cider producers in Michigan to have their ciders evaluated by a trained panel of judges. It is free to enter for any commercial cider producter. The winner will receive a traveling trophy and second and third place will receive plaques. The awards are sponsored by The Michigan Apple Committee, The Michigan State Horticultural Society, and Fruit Growers News.

There are chairs available for any conference attendee to sit and quietly observe the judging. Attendees may taste and evaluate the calibration cider during the judge training.
