In this session we will hear practical strategies for running farm camps for kids as well as take part in hands-on demonstrations of activities as we hear from farm camp educators and operators at Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill and the Michigan State University Tollgate Farm.

*  Sprouting Curiosity: Combining Agriculture and Camps
Barbie Kellner is the education coordinator at the MSU Tollgate Farm and Kassie Lavigne is the camp coordinator. MSU Tollgate Farm's camps focus on agricultural education for kids at a farm with animals, vegetables, and a mission for education. They will discuss how they incorporate agricultural education into their camps.
