Officials from the Michigan Department of Agriculture will be proctoring the Restricted Use Pesticide Test (RUP). The test will be in both English and Spanish/ In order to take the test individuals must attend the morning review session. 
Pesticide Applicator Core Review and MDARD Exam will be held at Great Lakes Expo this year in both English and Spanish. The morning sessions will instruct handlers how to properly mix, load, and apply pesticides. This will prepare attendees to take the MDARD Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) test in the afternoon. This is a mandatory session for those that are taking the exam. Those that have a valid RUP license and attend the morning session can get 4 Private Core or Commercial Core RUP credits. Registration for this class is required. Register at https://events.anr.msu.edu/2026_GLEXPO_RUP/. The registration cost covers the review, test, and a one day pass to the Great Lakes Expo. Those that have a pass for the full Great Lakes Expo will be refunded the cost for the Expo daily pass."

MDARD will be on hand to proctor the RUP test. Once participants have completed the test they are free to visit the trade show.
