The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) is partnering with Michigan State University (MSU) Extension to host this year’s buyer‑supplier matchmaking event at the Great Lakes Expo. Michigan suppliers of fruits, vegetables, and other food and beverage products are invited to apply for the opportunity to meet directly with buyers seeking Michigan‑grown and Michigan‑made products.
Pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, each lasting 10–20 minutes, will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2026. Meeting details, including times and location, will be shared with selected participants. Please note that not all suppliers will be chosen for meetings, and participation is limited to Michigan-based companies.
Suppliers:
This event offers a high‑value opportunity to connect with committed buyers looking to expand their Michigan product offerings. All suppliers must also register as attendees of the Great Lakes Expo to be eligible to participate.
To be considered for supplier meetings, complete your supplier application by November 2, 2026. Early applications ensure your company is visible to buyers as they make their selections. Please note that participation in these meetings is restricted to Michigan companies only and not all companies will be selected for meetings.
Submit your application today to secure your chance to participate.
