Nate started Green Things Farm with his partner Jill in 2011. Farming for over 15 years now, he has worked to develop what started as a two person operation into a vibrant community of over 25 farmers growing produce, flowers, and raising beef cattle for the greater Ann Arbor community. Nate is deeply invested in the health of the 100+ acres of land he is part of farming and the community that has formed around it. Nate is passionate about developing innovative farm systems that support the complex work being done on the farm, his work is integral to the building and maintaining of the farm’s infrastructure and equipment, and he is the lead support for the farm’s production team. In addition to farming Nate loves filling his time with rock climbing, birding, reading lots of books, dancing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
