Bryan Brady serves as an Agriculture Extension Associate Senior at the Food Connection at the University of Kentucky, where he leads the Cultivate Kentucky Program. With a professional background in culinary arts and foodservice, Bryan developed an early appreciation for local sourcing and the farmers who sustain regional food systems. He later earned both a B.S. in Sustainable Agriculture and an M.S. in Integrated Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Kentucky. In his current role, Bryan helps produce growers access wholesale market channels by preparing farms for third-party produce food safety certifications, including GAP audits. Through direct on-farm technical assistance, he works closely with growers to strengthen food safety systems and improve produce quality in practical, cost-effective ways. By combining food systems experience with produce quality and food safety expertise, Bryan supports Kentucky farms in building resilient, market-ready operations that connect production with institutional and wholesale demand.
